⸺ A SHIFT IN PERSPECTIVE ⸺

We spend our lives trying to avoid aging, fearing it. We have to learn to value it, prepare for it, and embrace it.

CHRISTINA PRATHER, MD
Lived Experience From The Exam Room To You

The doctor who wants you to reconsider how you think about aging.

Dr. Prather started as an engineer, became a geriatrician and palliative care physician, and never stopped asking the same question: How do we help older adults live with greater dignity, function, and joy—and ensure they receive the healthcare they need when it matters most?

Over the course of her career, she has built and transformed clinical programs, led healthcare teams, taught the next generation of clinicians, and cared for thousands of older adults and their families at a major academic medical center in Washington, DC.

Today, she brings that experience into communities, onto stages, and across health systems—helping patients and families ask better questions, teaching clinicians to think differently about aging, and empowering organizations to reimagine what excellent care for older adults can and should be.
